A 30-year-old tradition continued!

White Bear Lake, MN - The aroma of freshly baked treats and delicious coffee is once again wafting through the streets of historic downtown White Bear Lake! Nestled between the GoodThings gift store and GoodThings Clothing, GoodThings Café may be new to the GoodThings family, but it is founded in the spirit of a 30-year-old White Bear Lake tradition that started with Grandma’s Bakery and most recently Wuollet Bakery.

“It's exciting, continuing the legacy of the small-town bakery that John Lupo started more than 30 years ago,” says GoodThings owner Tyler Conrad. “Grandma’s Bakery was an icon in the area. Everyone loved that bakery! Now GoodThings Café is open in the same location, and it feels good to bring that experience back to the people of White Bear Lake with delicious, fresh, locally made products.”

MENU OFFERINGS

GoodThings Café offers tasty breakfast and lunch options, as well as coffee, donuts, pastries, cookies and more! Quality ingredients and fresh, hand-picked, locally made products are hallmarks of the Café. The menu features freshly roasted coffee, lattes, and more from nearby Wisconsin coffee bean roastery as well as award winning teas from a Twin Cities business. Grab ‘n Go hot sandwiches, soups, and healthy protein-packed snacks will also be available, in addition to fan-favorite sauces like our Maple Bacon Onion Jam.

“Providing a destination and gathering place for friends and families to enjoy delicious, quality food is a passion of ours,” says GoodThings founder, Sharon Conrad. “The new GoodThings Café will bring more people to experience the wonderful, good things that downtown White Bear Lake has to offer.”

THANKSGIVING PIES & MORE - Pre-order all your Thanksgiving baked goods from the GoodThings Café! All made fresh and local, the Pumpkin, Apple, and Pecan Pies are available for holiday pre-ordering, as well as a variety of buns, decorated cookies, and cupcakes. Pre-order in store through noon on Friday, November 17th. Pick up on Wednesday Nov. 22nd and Thursday morning, November 23rd.

GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION - Join GoodThings Café for a Grand Opening Celebration featuring special foods and offers! Thursday, November 30 – Sunday, December 3^rd. Santa will be making a special visit on Friday, December 1st, 4-6PM, so bring the kids and your camera.
