A state with extreme weather conditions from very cold to very hot, Minnesota also boasts some of the healthiest residents in the country due to so many outdoor activities and maybe a little Hamm’s Beer. 

The state has inspired some of its most famous residents in cultural pursuits, including Laura Ingalls Wilder, Prince, Bob Dylan, the Andrew Sisters, the Coen Brothers, Judy Garland and Garrison Keillor. Charles Schultz and F. Scott Fitzgerald were both natives of St. Paul, and who can forget Mary Tyler Moore celebrating single life in Minneapolis?
